I don't normally do this, but a close friend's daughter died from complications due to Spinal Muscular Atrophy yesterday.

I encourage people to donate to help families with SMA children.
They are very close to finding genetic treatments, so any little bit helps.

I would suggest using the "Just Give" foundation or the "Network for Good", both have low over-head (3%) and FSMA gets the remaining 97%.
