slow priority mail

hey--

I've been expecting a domestic package--the priority mail tracker says that it was accepted Wed. evening, reached my city on Sat. morning, but as of Monday afternoon, it has not arrived. Has anyone experienced any similar delays with priority mail or should I be getting worried? Thanks.
 
Yeah...I was talking to a guy at the post office last week and as of that time they still weren't flying any mail. It was all going by ground and they were saying 5 days for most deliveries.
 
the reason I'm really concerned is that it says it's already arrived in my city--and it doesn't look like it's coming today, so that makes Saturday and Monday just sitting with the postal service here...making me a little nervous
 
Bro, I don't want to alarm you, but that does sound weird. Did you order the package in your real name? Is it addressed to your house or a p.o. box? Just to be safe I would clean out any gear that you have in your house. There was a sticky up last week that said that you should not order from Wyoming, Michigan and a few other states. There are alot of busts going on. I hope you get your stuff. Be careful.
 
it's my real name coming to a house I share with a few others..house is clean, thinking about maybe moving my comp to a safe place
 
If a postman comes to your house and ask you to sign for the package DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Totally deny any knowledge of the package. Say you have no idea who sent the package to you. No matter how much pressure they put on you don't talk. The only way they can prove posession is for you to sign for the package. If they discovered that your package is juice they may try to do a controlled delivery. If the package arrives without you having to sign anything, just to be safe, I would put "return to sender" on the package and keep it by your front door for 3 days. After 3 days you should be fine to start using your goodies. Hopefully everything is OK, but it is better to be safe than sorry!
 
Keep us posted bro. You probably should hide your computer out of the house. If they try to get you the first thing they will do is take your computer. They will then check all of your email.
 
I agree with you WarLobo. What has me concerned for the bro is that the package arrived in his town on Saturday morning and he still has not received it at his home.
 
that's what has me worried too, though I do live in a large east coast city, albeit not NY...possibly they're just real backed up here
 
That's good bro. It would make a difference living in a big city. I was advising you as if you lived in a small town. I would still be careful though.
 
would be curious to know if anyone has recently had a similar experience with slow delivery after the package has reached your area--I suppose it's always possible it could've been lost or most likely delayed--priority isn't guaranteed 3 day delivery is it? tommorrow will be day 4
 
I am going through the same thing right now. It sucks. Mine arrived last thursday. But I am not worried because I know the mail is very very slow right now and that got shit backed up. Well good luck to both of us.
 
Mail is way backed up because they cancelled flights for so long, when they resumed the post offices got flooded with shit ......they can only fit so much shit in thier trucks, when they deliver.....stay cool dude....u will be OK!
 
Don't get paranoid bro.
It's just slow. You're going to get a heart attack if you let yourself get worked up about it. If the mailman comes to the door, don't answer it. They're usually lazy and just leave it at the door. Or leave a small sign outside the door "please leave all packages in the box" and leave a box out there. At 3 am go out there and grab it. Drive 500 miles north and then 300 miles east. Open the package. Drive 500 miles south and then 300 miles west.
You'll be ok.
 
damnit, I just wish the thing was still on the west coast instead of sitting in my city for two days..that's what's making me so paranoid
 
dont get worried yet, you said you live in a house with others? if so have them sign for it. when the post man comes to deliver my express mail which i must sign for im conviently taking a shit in the bathroom so my female roommate has to sign for it, after that i am not worried.

it may take a few more days.

when the post man comes say your Joe Schmoe or when i do sign im Ted Belson, that way its not your name but you can still sign for the package and not be worried.

dont sweat it just hang tight for a few more days!!!

Listen Quaker just go pick it up at the Post Office. My very first package I had to go pick it up and sign for it. That was Foreign source and I had no probs. I only had to sign for it cuase I waqsnt home and the guy wasnt gonna leave the package outside. I just sent my dealer (my domestic) money on Sat the 22nd and got my shit today which is Monday the 1st. Im sure everything is ok. Oh and if ur curious. My package was 4 Tokkyo Eq bottles and 1 Stanol V
 
I'd consider going to the post office, but I've gotten no slips of any kind indicating that they attempted to deliver nor does the usps website indicate any attempted delivery--my house does have a very small mail slot, so they would have to leave the package outside if no one answered the door, but I assumed that w/ priority w/ no sig required they'd just leave it outside..I'm just praying it shows tommorrow..in any case, my house is clean..just debating if I should move my computer out for a few days just in case
 
bro, as long as you follow the suggestions posted, you'll be FINE.. Mail is extremely slow right now. My dad works for the usps (here on the east coast), and they are extremely backed up right now. Just relax.:)

I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a package sent from Europe by priority mail. The guy was supposed to mail it the day before the WTC got KO'd. I haven't heard a peep from him since. So, look on the bright side, things could be worse. Oh, and no tracking number for me to check.

So far all my internaitonals have been fine. Most priority mail has been reaching destination in 2-4 days as normal. THe only occurence was that 40ml of test 400 disappered from a package adn was sealed then sent on its way, damn postal workers getting jacked on my gear.

But right now mail should be moveing just fine give or take a few days. I have received form mulitipal asain and european shippers and all have been fine, ever the express and jugs were okay. Maybe I just got lucky, I hope the rest of you get some luck on yours as well.

I just got back from post office (in DC) and sent envelope priority to califonia.....post office said things are pretty much back to normal....
 
Hey bro my package was sent last Tues. from the west coast to the east coast just checked tracker again and no chg. all it says is that it was picked up for delivery, I hope to get it today!! Today makes a week, never had to wait more than 2 days, I understand the WTC has alot to do with it but DAMN they are still flying!!!

Just get (evidence eliminator) and keep all the stuff you dont want people to see in your encryped email.
