I could go to the clubs, but I don't feel like it.

It's easier said then done though, especially after I've invested so much time and energy and emotions into it.

Problem is, she is scared to pursue things further. I KNOW for a fact she would like to be with me and that together we are great. In all honesty, what is scaring her is that I'm the first man to treat her VERY well like a true lady and that has her.... scared?? She keeps saying she doesn't deserve me, etc etc as though she were not worthy of having me.

Is her name Doug by any chance? Seriously, that is IDENTICAL to how my ex was in the beginning. He felt exactly the same way and often told me. He was overtly suspicious of why I was with him and kept searching and searching for some ulterior motive.

Of course, when he realized he wouldn't find it.... he then started to milk by kindness for all it was worth.
