Slip N Slides, anyone use to?

Back in the day I was a big fan of slip n slides. Anyone miss them?

Yeah I remember the plain yellow ones, then we upgraded to the ones where you went through and landed in a small pool of water.
I beleive the discont. them cause kids were injuring the spinal cord jumping on them.

my new gym has one over by the squat racks.
I don't lift as much while on the slip and slide, but I feel that it really helps my coordination while handling the massive weight of the pastel blue dumbells at my side.
on the downside, if you use too much chalk, then it mixes with the water and you just get a big mess.

We made a homemade one out of about 60 ft of plastic wrap layed out on a steep hill and a spray hose...

It's a wonder I can still walk... like 30 MPH on that thing at the end where it just stopped with grass..

Now they have them with about 6 snake like hoses made out of that Noodle foam stuff.

It was kind of sick. The wife was holding the video camera giggling thinking her now cripped husband was joking.

I can remember the grass burns from them. when you get certain types of grass wet, and if they are long and thick enough, they will cut wet skin.

whoa, easy nelly with your ninja. slip n slide ruled. I always got jakcked up by the rocks or sprinklers that were UNDERNEATH the dayamn slide. I remember digging in small ditches so we could get some air.

the one with the pool was crocodile mile..I had one of those. It was a beefed up slip n slide with a spary of water that would hit you as you took the bump into the pool. That shit was nice...Here was the song...

I had Crocodile Mile....that was the best thing I ever had....it left a permanent mark on my dad's beautiful lawn and he got so pissed that he cut up the slide and threw it out!! I never cried so hard

Hehehe, I still have a slip & slide You can buy them for like $20 at Toys R Us. For my 21st birthday, we had a huge party and got a ton of women drunk and had them all go on the slip & slide at like 3am. It was a great show. Good pics. I think when I am 80 I am still going to want to have a slip & slide and a huge trampoline. Good times all around.
