Slin Subq Spot

TPH

New member
Previously i have injected in the abdominal area, but unfortunately I have noticed localized fat retention.

Thinking of using quads, calfs, etc, for subq slin... any thoughts or concerns are appreciated!!

Thanks,

TPH

You can pretty much inject into any area subcutaneously as long as you have enough skin there to pinch up in a skin fold w/o going into the muscle. I think the only difference is the time of uptake depending on the part of the body you use to inject. It may either get into the system quicker or possibly delay it's activity.

yeah pretty much what mr flex said. I still think stomach is the easiest, there really isn't to many other areas i would do it without going into muscle. Diabetics have to do it everyday, i feel sorry for them

Thanks for the responses. To build upon that, it seems if one were injecting into a "thin-skinned area" (i.e., quads, tris, bis), it would seem much easier to inadvertently get the slin into the muscle, even with a slin needle. One again quickening the slin response.
