Sleep and cycles

Hello All,

What is the mimimum amount of sleep I should get in order to continue my gains on a test cycle? My job is stressful and often I go to bed at 12Am and get up again at 6:30. I haven't cycled as a result, but if I did, could I see gains. I have no problem getting my calories in or taking an hour to go to the gym, but I still have things to do that stop me getting anywhere close to 8 hours sleep. I heard Ronnie gets by on 6 hours, but I doubt it as I feel tired sometimes if I mis sleep.

I try to stick with the 8 hr minimum

in an ideal world you would get 8-10 hours of sleep but in todays day and age it sometimes isnt possible, will that mean you cant go on cycle NO will that mean your gains will suck NO.....you still MUST make it to the gym however and as long as that and diet are good just get as much sleep as you can.....my schedule blows but that doesnt stop me and it doesnt mean i wont get shit

5 25 am get up, cofee/glutamine
5 30 run 2 miles
5 45 get back and eat quick
6 00 shower
6 15 work 7-3 (corrections officer)
nap if i can
4 30 leave for school (police academy)
5 30 school starts
9 30 school ends
10 00 get to the gym
11 00 get home
eat/shower try and be in bed for
12 or 12 30 bed

if i can still gain on that then you can do it as well.....peace and thats m-f
 
If you feel rested, I don't see why you can't make good gains. You said that your job is stressful, I'd be more worried about dealing with the stress than the sleep. Either way, I'd throw in some exercise to at least deal with the stress.
 
sleep more on the week-ends. my life is hectic too. I just spend alotta time in bed on the weekends. If I don't get tons of sleep I don't grow
 
i know guys that would sleep 12 hours and i know guys that only sleep 4...i cant tell the difference between thier gains...i think it just depends on your body
if you feel rested go with it

uummm....you seem to forget I am the one that is supposed to be telling the jokes, not the other way around. So no more of this making fun of wayne stuff. :freak:

Is this sleep solid or do you toss and turn, wake up a lot etc? just going to bed one hour earlier would make a big difference I would bet. With your schedule is that doable?

i just completed a 12 week test cycle and got roughly 5-6 hours a night and gained a TON. and i know guys that sleep like 4-5 hours MAX a night and they dont take gear and theyre huge. so if they can get like that without gear imagine where theyd be with it. sleep is important and im sure 8 hours is better than 5 but it wont kill your gains.

lol me scary nah, im only scary to them when i put them on 24 hour lockdown and add charges against them........otherwise we get along alright....
 
my friend's dad is a jail guard. all he does is eat vicodin, eat steak, and shit everywhere. theres shit all in the living room. and watches the apprentice.

yeah the job isnt that hard as long as your a respected C/O...if your not well, then you have all kinds of problems....

No, I hit it immediately. Its just that I wake up the following morning knowing for the first hour or two that I didn't sleep enough. Its possible alright. I suppose I'll have to have a solid cut off point 11-6 and force myself to be that 110% efficient in work.
