slave to gear?

the thought of going for the gear has crossed my mind, but i have a few questions. first, what are the lasting effects? for instance, how long will i be able to maintain any increase in size that i've gained with just proper diet and working out? will i need another round several months down the road? and two, if this is the case, what kind of money are you guys spending on this yearly?

No one wants to reply because we don't want to think about how much is spent. You could make some gains and keep most of them on a couple of cycles per year, but what happens is you really do become somewhat addicted. Not to the stuff, but the lifestyle and the way you look and the whole competition with yourself thing. As far as the use of AS, it effects everybody a little differently so you won't know untill you try it. At least, that's what I hear from people who've done it. :)

well if that's the case, then this is all bunk. i thought that at least a few people would step up to the plate and tell it like it is. if they can't then this board is hurtin'. after all, this is about information, right?

It depends. i've spent over a couple grand on gear so far and have not even been doing it for a year. You end up spending not only on gear but antiestrogens, clomid and anything that will combat the sides. You also end up spending more on protien, So once you add steroids you really end up spending a lot more, so you got to choose if it's worth it or not. For me it's worth it 100% even if i spend my money because it makes me happy.

I will tell you it does get quite adictive... For example a first cycle could not go as well as you though and you cant wait to start the next one to fix the mistakes you made on the last one and try new things you learned.... so from there the chain reaction begins.

You can keep all your gains if you are not at your natural limit. If you are, you can maintain a lot of the gains if you keep a good diet up. Regaurdless time on = time off should really keep steady gains but you will lose a few pounds after each cycle.

100-200 per month on protein, and legal good stuff
another hundered over in food, gatorade, meat

For AS I've used less than 2000 in the past three years. But that includes L-dex at 240 a vial, and all the goodies clomid, hcg.

In theory you could just do one vial of T200 at one shoot per week for 10 weeks. Then on weeks 10-14 take nolvadex one tab per day. In all you would gain 10-20 pounds keep 8-12 pounds and only spend around 100 dollars.

I myself used one cart of fina, one kit, one vial of T50, a box of pins, some clomid and nolvadex. For my first cycle it cost me less than 150.00 and I gained 15lbs and looked great. But I got hooked on the lifestyle. The lifestyle of eating right, sleeping right, and not drinking as much (if any). I really like being healthy. Plus you gotta love stuff your non-gym freinds say. And not to forget the looks. But most of all I do it cause I want to. And I stop when I want to. I did a 12 weeker gained 22lbs lost all but 3-4 pounds but still love it. I've been off for two months and going to take another month off. Then its 10 weeks of test/deca and 10 more weeks of low dose test.

But if want to be extra safe. Find a lab or doctor that will do blood work. Get your base blood work done. Testoserone free and total, estrogen, progesterone, liver, hdl, ldl. Once you have that done look to see were your hormones are at. If you have naturally low test then you could get by with using HRT hormone replacement theropy--- 100-200mgs of test per week. This would keep your body in the normal human ranges. Get tested once a month and adjust your dosages if needed.

this is good advice for anyone looking to start. I forgot to mention I’m monitored by a doctor and have prescriptions for some stuff I use... this is also a high cost, but it's the safest approach.

The best advice I can give for keeping your gains is to plan your off cycle (the 8 weeks post cycle) as carefully as the cycle itself. And stick to it as strictly as you would if you were on the cycle. There is lots of good gains keeper stuff in the search, or my gains keeper report comes free with Secrets of Mail Order Steroid Success. Read more here:

Keeping most of your gains is possible, but requires as much work as the cycle itself.
