Site Specific Winstrol Depot Injections?

Hi all. I've been trolling the boards for a couple of months now, but just started posting. I'd like to thank everyone for the shit loads of good info & advice. It's already saved me hours of time looking elsewhere.

I've been training for roughly 11 yrs. (5'10" 182 8%) and have only done one short cycle (6wks Sust) about 5 yrs ago. I'm looking at running another cycle (Winstrol Depot & Primo) to pick up some good strength combined with hardness and a bit of size (maybe 10lbs).

Specifically, I'd really like to pick up some inches on my teenage girl sized calves. I've trained the piss out of them for years with little noticeable effect. I've got decent quads and hams (love to squat and deadlift), but get no love below the knee.

One of my buddies plays professional football (Arena League) and runs several cycles (various gear) a year. He's recommended that I run the Winstrol 50mg/eod with insulin needles (27 gage, .5in") directly into my sorry excuse for lower legs. He contends that the site specific injection makes a difference on where the most noticeable growth is observed.

I've always been under the impression that the injection site was irrelevant to area of growth, but my friend seems fairly certain it helps. Can anyone confirm that injecting winny directly into the calf would increase the odds of their growth? If not, I'd much rather stick myself in the glut. Much greater margin of error.

Sorry for rambling and thanx in advance for any info.

What is so bad about scar tissue? A little doesn't really do much harm and if you rotate the injections spots properly (every 10 days or so) they you should get little scar tissue buildup I think.

Thanx for the info. I talked with my bro after reading your response johnboy, and he sent me the following snippet from another website re. Winstrol Depot :

When injected daily Winstrol Depot can become a very expensive compound. It also has the disadvantage that, because of the fre-quent injections, the already-mentioned scar tissue will develop in the gluteal region (buttocks) which leads many athletes to inject Winstrol in their shoulders, arms, legs or even calves. Although this was originally intended as an expedient, injecting Winstrol Depot into certain muscles has become increasingly popular since athletes have noticed that this leads to an accelerated growth of the affected muscle. An American pro bodybuilder who is known for his cross striated, horseshoe- shaped triceps owes this in considerable part to his regular "triceps Winstrol-Depot injections." A confusion with the also often used Esiclene is excluded. Athletes who want to avoid daily injections usually take 2-3ml Winstrol Depot twice a week. in the U.S. injectable stanozolol is manufactured only for veterinary medicine. It is distributed under the name Winstrol V by Winthrop and Upjohn.

Not sure this means shit, but I'd appreciate any additional input on why site specific injections wouldn't work.

Call me desperate, but I want very badly to believe that Winny straight to the calf could be effective for growth. Hell, I'll shoot elmer's glue into my left nut if someone can prove it makes my lower legs bigger.

I have some scar tissue in my back from a few accidents. After you get scar tissue in the muscle you will understand what is wrong with it. IT HURTS LIKE A BITCH! and it doesn't allow the muscles to contract etc. properly.
Ok makes sense. Although with a car crash thicker scar tissue would be developed I assume. I totally agree that calf injections aren't the answer for this guy but I am curious on your opinion of the formation of scar tissue from injections as I have noticed I have a bit forming in my delts (I shoot them every 10 days with a 25g 1" needle) and this is only my first cycle. I noticed it because it was hard to push the needle in. I would think that this type of scar tissue would cause minimal problems as the thickness of scar tissue is directly proportional to the trauma involved to the area and a 25g needle every 10 days doesn't equate to heavy trauma. Would you agree?

Btw johnboy have you tried visiting a good deep tissue massage therapist to try to help clear some of the scar tissue from the accident or alleviate some of problems caused by the scar tissue? Might be worth checking out, if you need help in selecting a good therapist PM me and I can help you in what type of questions to ask to determine how good they are.

there is no scientific evidence that spot injections works...maybe just inflammation and scar tissue but no real muscle growth....and scar tissue after a while may need to be removed...this has happened to a friend who was a big winny fan and did most injections in shoulder....just had tissue removed from his right shoulder

Forgive my ignorance, but is there anything specific to Winny (besides frequency of injections) which makes it more prone to build scar tissue?
