I think what you probably meant to say what 1ml not 100mg. Mg per ml varies by product and mfg. Anyway, it is always good practice to take your time with any injection IMO, whether it's 1ml or 3ml, you don't want to rush it or yes you could cause yourself unnecessary extra pain.
