Since when does DPS make you sign?

I ordered supplements through DPS as usual today and they told me since it was $300+ order, someone has to sign for it? Since when and why? This happen to anyone else. With all the shit that's goin on, I don't like givin UPS or anyone my signature for any reason. WTF?
