Simple Question

OK, here it goes:

A friend of mine went to shoot his prop and when he aspirated, he drew a bit of blood. He withdrew but didn't have a replacement needle on standby. I know some people just restick, but he and I are firm believers in replacing the needle everytime.

The question is, he ending up just capping the needle (filled) and placing it back in the wrapper. Is it safe for him to switch out the needle and reuse the gear filled syringe? (it's been 2 days since he filled it)

Thanx for the help.

Is the little bit of blood that he drew in still in the pin?

If there is blood still in the syringe then i highly recommend that he should throw it away. If he would've re-injected the juice with the blood right away then it shouldn't be a problem. But since it's been left for 2 days i think the blood would have become stale or even worse it could've turned into a blood clot.

refrigerated? if not no... if you had blood in the syringe i'd still throw it, its only 100mg of prop worth any complications? i dont think so!

There was no blood left in the syringe.

He was unable to finish (recap and get a new pin) because - hell, I don't know.

Yes, it was only 100mg of prop and 100mg of primo; let's face it, no one likes to watch oil go down the drain :)

Thanx for the help guys. He just tossed it and called it a day.

I cry when I see oil down the drain. I say a prayer and everything
