Signing for UPS

I was not home but my Fina for my heffer cam and UPS left a tag on my door that Signiture required on delivery (In Person) Is this normal? I would have thought that they would drop ship. Has this happened to anyone else???

It depends on where you live, most suburban and rural areas are designated driver release(leave pkg.) Inner cities, high theft areas, and businesses the driver usually has to get a signature. Unless the shipper requested it, or it's programmed into the barcode, the driver would leave it as long as it is out of sight and out of weather. The last thing I want to do is have to make attempt after attempt. I leave just about everything. I wouldn't sweat it. I've been a driver for 14 yrs. and no telling what I've delivered.

In your case they will need a signature.

A shipper can request a signature for 21years or older to sign, dont worry no problems just sign, you might be able to get away with just signing the card depending on the driver.
