signing for registered mail??

ok guys, im waiting on two packages, one from Russia and one from the UK, the person i had them sent to said they had a letter in their box to go to post office and pick up, it said it was registered mail? they told the person they would have to sign for it, and the post master wouldn't be back with the package till 5? any experience with this? i thought you never had to sign?? thanks for any input.

If you can find, out from the source if it was sent registered. If not, don't sign for shit. I probably wouldn't anyway. The money isn't worth what it could cost you.

I agree w flexx that sounds mighty funny and I would think signing for it would put it in your possesion and possesion is 9/10's of the law it doesn't have your real name on it does it? If not pay some other dumb ass to go pick it up for you don't do the dirty work yourself
