side effects of long term usage

Blood pressure=100/73. Cholesterol was 138. After 7 months continous use of Test and added Deca recently.

500 mgs of test first 6 months. 500mgs test, 400 deca last month. No anti-E's. Proviron EOD for last month

Those sides seem right to me. I am not surprised. Shorten your cycles down a little. Give your body some off time to recover. Kinda late for that now I guess, but for the future. The more I read on this board, the more of a fan I become of doing multiple short cycles per year, instead of a few long ones. Its just harder for your body to recover when your on for a long time.

What's a cycle. I'm on for life. High doses of HRT.

Just curious why high doses for HRT? Do you have other complicating factors? Crones? or ? Usually, HRT is to replace missing natural levels not to bring levels beyond natural levels.

I've been doing the shit for 20 years off and on. I'm a firm believer in the research that I've done. I'm willing to take small risks. Most of you are young fuckers. No need to ever come off of moderate doses of test.

What were your stats 7 months ago, and what are they now?

"No need to ever come off of moderate doses of test" - I guess not, especially since you will be permanantly shut down and you will become dependant on the injections.

That's no problem. At my age, I'm not worried about that.

bump, I'm interested because I just started a long cycle.

I'm on HRT as well. I take Androgel to achieve a total test level approximately 800ng/dl. I've been toying with the idea lately of taking some enanthate 2 on/2 off or just stay on. I wonder about what the problems may be from having a total test level of say 1600ng/dl. As long as I take some finasteride for the prostate and maybe some ocassional arimidex. I'm thinking about doing this for maybe the next 25 years then drop down to the 800 level. I haven't talked with my doctor about this yet. Biteme, is the 500mg/wk of test your replacement dose? Are you going to do this forever?

I think the main risk from long-term testosterone use, is from estrogen not DHT. High DHT + high estrogen, very bad. But just high DHT not so bad unless you MPB, IMHO. Otherwise for me at least the DHT is easier to manage with OTC stuff.

I guess biteme does not have to worry much about estrogen but myself I would need to run an anti-e with just about any test dosage. That blood pressure reading is really amazingly good so I guess the proviron (methyl DHT) keeps things in line for him.

I'll do it as long as my blood readings are good. Cholesterol was 138. GGT was low. Everything looked good. Some guys on here have been doing 500-1000mgs. a week for many years and say they have no side effects. Some in their 50's. Whoever asked about my gains. Not as much as I would like so far. But I believe the gear that I have now is fake. Over 6 or 7 months I have gained about 5 to 8 pounds, lost 2 inches off my waist. My strength has significantly improved, until I injured myself doing a 425 max on the bench press.

I've been on for 2 years.
As long as you properly cycle AAS and you don't get to carried away w/ other recreational drugs(This is what screws most people up btw), I don't think you will run into many problems.
Cardio is also key. Too many people think that it isn't necessary. Well, it is for overrall health.
My main base AAS is Tren though. Not test. I already posted my 21 week Blood test results......w/ no problems at all. My 42- week test will be posted when i get the results.
I use these supps religiously:

1. r-ala or ALA
2. GLA
3. Garlic
4. CLA
5. AL-Car
6. Magnesium/Calcium

And I stay away from alcohol and any type of NSAID.

I guess that answers my question. When you said HRT, I assumed that you were getting your gear from a doctor. But then I can't imagine any doctor giving you 500 WK for HRT. I am still curious, though: Was is the highest dose that a doctor will prescribe for HRT? 100mg WK seems standard, and I have heard of some people getting as much as 200 WK, but even that still seems low to me.

You've been on for two years without breaks? Do you plan on coming off.

I am just surprised since you don't want to compete, am I right? Yet you stay on so long?

What if your hpta doesn't recover?

Is there any real reason for a soccer player to be on for so long? Correct me if I am wrong.

Not that you asked but MY reason for staying on forever is retension of strength as I age. I'm 41 y.o. and did not use gear until last year. I was always satisfied with what I could achieve naturally. However, as I aged I began losing muscle rather than maintaining where I was, part of which was low natural test so I got HRT. My goal is to have the physical attributes that I would have as a natural if I was say ten years younger. When I'm 45 I'd like to have AT LEAST the strength I had as a natural at 35, at 50, the strength of my natural 40, etc. I just wonder why you even need to cycle low dose test. Most medical folks seem concerned about the prostate issue, but I don't think there is actually any proof test causes prostate cancer. Now if you get the cancer, it may speed it up but as long as my PSA looks good I'm not worrying.

I have a 2 year old son that I plan on being fully active with as I age. Sure you can do that stuff without gear, but I say why not do it better with a little boost. I'm interested in who else here uses gear to prevent age-related declines. It seems most guys use when in college or their twenties, then get married, settle down and stop.

My friend who is my age (38) worked out with me today. He couldn't believe the amount of energy that I have. I would have it without gear too because I've always worked out, but it does enhance your workouts. Yeah, Im just going to keep my blood monitored and my goal is to keep gaining. Need something to shoot for. At 200lbs and 5'9", I still have a lot of room to grow, at least 20 to 30 more lean pounds.

Fonz, what do you use for combatting sides like gyno, etc.?
Bromo? Liquidex? Nolva?
