Sick... please help me bro's

I developed a cold this past monday, sore throat etc. The sore throat is gone but I have bad nasal and sinus pressure. I have taken a few days off from training but I am in week 4 of my cycle and hate not being in the gym.

Is it harmful to train with a sinus cold? My body feels ok but I have lots of mucus in my throat and my sinuses have a real lot of pressure. Will I make it worse by training?

I am going crazy trying to sleep all day when I haven't even trained.... thistruly sucks :evil:
 
If I'm so restless like that I'll make an attempt to train-but it would only be something wimpy like abs, calves, forearms. Usually my workout sucks but it eliminates my anxiety for wanting to train. When I'm sick I actually do my best with Nyquil, weed, orange juice, water, and as much sleep as possible. The Nyquil Weed combo will knock you out pretty good. I try not to eat too much solid food-the theory behind that being that since your body feeds on the weakest cells first when hungry it will make you get better quicker. If it works???
 
never sick on a cycle. only 1nc but droped it. was near the end n e way. If i get sick i no im run down, best bet is time off bro iv heard of geting ill at the end of cycles but not half way through realy like i sead only hapend to me 1nc.
 
i think you can train, at least weights volume training unless you have fever. if you feell tired, can't breath, then low down the volume but don't stop to train. I had to stop my current cycle at the third week of Tren/prop because a serious infection with fever, non related with steroids or the cycle i was doing. since tren ace/test prop are shot esthers, i decided to begin again the cycle from week 1 and keep on doing it during the original programed schedule. shit happens.
 
The first day I had a sore throat, I rested completely. The second day I just had a little sore throat and trained legs, and the yesterday trained chest. This morning I woke up and my sinuses were pretty bad which made me feel tired, dizzy, headeache etc so I sucked it up and didn't step foot in the gym.

I took some Sudafed today and it seemed to help a bit. I have been sleeping like mad but I get crazy anxiety when I can't hit the gym since I am so programed to it. I will hit back tommorrow if I feel the way I do right now, but will just avoid taking sets to failure etc.

I actually feel better when I do train, maybe its mental..... or the caffiene.... or the increased calories etc?

One thing is I can't taste or smell ANYTHING, which is good for keeping diet in check, but damn do I miss the taste of a nice hot meal.

You can even eat out your old lady when she has that not so fresh feeling now. :chomp:
 
Hope you get better soon. I think you are right on track, if its a cold then go ahead & take it easy (nothing to failure, etc.)

Although I am right there with you re; feeling better hitting the gym, the time off (3-4 days) will prob do more help to you in the long run then pushing through it.
