Showcase channel Friday nights

I PVR'd a few shows last night. Man this channel is like a porn channel at night. Debbie Does Dallas Again, Porno Valley, Webdreams, all focused on the porn industry. I'm amazed they can show this stuff on regular TV.

Kind of facinating though to see the business side of that industry. And all of the boobies. Makes you realize that normal girls walking down the street could actually be porno girls.

Showcase? Never heard of it.

We get new cable channels all the time, but I haven't seen this yet. If I don't go surfing for new channels, I may never see what we have available. Too many freaking channels.

Is Showcase a premium channel you pay extra for?

I'm in Canada - we get it on regular cable. It shows a lot of the HBO shows like Deadwood, Weeds, Rescue Me, etc. Maybe in the States they just show these on HBO?

OK I'll have to check HBO. I do remember stuff like that on there. Good stuff. It does show the real behind the scenes stuff that you wouldn't normally see.

Having said that. I think what they show is NOT what the normal porn industry is like. I would guess it's seedier than what they show. There are different levels of the porn industry. They show the "stars" of the industry and their lives, not the crack whores get anal from 5 guys for $50 all day long. It's really sad. Seriously. Before I go off in another direction, I'll stop there.
