Is there any benefit for shoulder pain to inject deca in that site? I have read conflicting information.

No that's pure brosciencen. Steroids don't work locally.
Once you inject the steroid it gets released in to the blood stream.

you are confusing anabolic steroids with catabolic steroids

and in both situations it is a bad idea to do that. any doctor who wants to inject you with cortizone into the shoulder instead of telling you to let it heal properly should be disbarred for life
