Shoulder injection question

Today I was injecting my usual deca injection and was easing the needle out and I must have hit a vein or something but blood shot out. I was wondering if anyone knows if I lost any of my injection because blood shot out. I did not bleed a lot or anything like that but was worried I lost some of my injection because of that.

no worries bro. When you do an IM inj you're shooting deep into the muscle tissue. You just released the pressure of the blood vessel you hit on the way in. Don't sweat it.

Which hurts more shoulder or glute. I have only done glute but was thinking of doing delt next cycle. Do you use the same size needle also, I use 23 gauge 1 inch. Assuming so, but don't know for sure.

I think that my glute hurts more. I am using 20 gauge needles because of how thick the oil is in the deca, so I think the shoulder is less painful.

Thanks for the info Dali, I was just worried I lost some of my precious deca.

mlong23,
as to whether you should try inj into your delts, I'd recommend rotating your inj site. Especially if doing frequent inj, like ed or eod.
ear-o-bolic,
You really don't need a 20g needle for deca. Try a 23 and you'll be surprised how less painful it is. I say this because glute shots are the least painful. One more thing, if you think glute inj are pain, don't ever try inj in your quad.
