Should writing rub off glass amp???

I have some ICN test amps, I thought I read a post that said if the writing rubs of the glass when you rub it with your finger, it is not the real stuff. Just curious because I noticed that the writing rubs off mine when I do that, any truth in this or is it normal?

I have had a little rub off. But they were oily. When I wiped them off a little writnig came off.

But for the most part writing should not rub off.

I purposely rubbed the glass to see if it would come off, otherwise just by holding it normal it wouldn't have came off. The #'s match some other people s ICN's , they are 3507 1002 1007. Any way that they could have these numbers but still be fake?

yeh, i've seen all their amps lose some writing, when some are shipped and taped together i've seen the tape peel off some of the color, they are fine

The #'s are good, and they appear good so I won't worry. Now the hard part is waiting till its time to "research" with them

If you get oil on them then yes, it rubs off easily....
I had those 1007's and I didn't like the quality of them at all...
Let me know if you see good gains with them.
