Should I buy a $540 camera?

I'm looking at a Nikon D50. It's a digital SLR camera. The $540 is just for the camera body, no lenses are included. I have two lenses for my 35 mm Nikon SLR that are compatible with the digital camera. I used to be into photography and even did some of my own darkroom work for black and white work. I want to get into digital photography a bit more. With the Nikon I already have the 2 lenses and a speedlight that are compatible with it so it makes sense to stay with the Nikon brand.

I used to spend a few hundred/day for film and developing when shooting wildlife etc.
