short cycles?

wondering what everybody's thoughts on shorter cycles are? For my next bulker I'm kind of interested in the idea of 2 short cycles. For example im thinking of something like...

cycle 1:
Dbol: 1-6
Prop: 1-6

4 weeks clomid followed by 2-4 more weeks off

cycle 2:
Npp: 1-6
Prop: 1-6

6-8 weeks off again before anything else

This would be an alternative to a 12-14 long bulker of Test E and Deca or EQ

what do you think the advantages may be? Net gains that much lower using shorter cycles? HPTA suppression less severe with short cycles? A lot of my reasoning is I dont want to spend 3.5 months on a big bulk and get too fat and then have to wait another 3.5 months before I can run a cutter.
 
I think short cycles are useless. You won't get fat if your diet is in check. Most lost acting AAS don't start showing gains until week four or five so you'll be quitting right when the gains start. I would say get you diet in check and do a 10 weeker.

yes.. do a 12 week cycle of test e and deca.. front loading the e or using a jump starter.. if you're still seeing the gains at week 12 keep going
 
Most don't see results form short cycles, but for any of you who have read Nelson Montana bodybuilding truth his logic does make sense. Your body can sustain a 3-6 pound gain easily but when you gain 30 lb's off a cycle it's not natural to keep. Also your natural levels don't take as big a hit when cycles are kept short. I've just found that many of these compounds take 5 weeks to start working! So I still think short cycles are bunk
 
I guess I don't see what the harm in trying one is. Some people see fast results from tren and prop on short cycles. Of course, you see results from longer cycles. If you are a naturally skinny guy like Nelson was, you might find success doing little 2-3 weekers and eating like a mad man. Last time I tried this I went from 194 to 212 (mostly from carbing up) and kept plenty enough to be satisfied (just under a quarter inch on my arms and about 5 lbs of good mass after a two week diet- my fat was lower and I still weighed 5 lbs more). It's not like rellying on the juice for your gains, but more like giving your body a little anabolic little kick in the ass.
