She hates Russia!

My Mrs absolutely hates the thought of me having been with any women apart from her. This is all despite the fact that she was in a number of serious relationships before me. But, one ex-gf of mine was a Russian and she (present GF) not only hates her, but goes nuts ever at the mention of Russia itself. I even had to turn a football game off as Russia were playing in it! She blows up with jealousy very easily. Why, oh why would anyone be that insecure?

Yes, I get that a bit as well. Some women just can't handle the fact that you shared any kind of intimacy with anyone else ever. It means they need reassurance you aren't "easy going" as regards relationships i.e. You loved and left before, will you love and leave again? To be honest, just concentrate on her and let the whole "Russia" thing subside as it will over time.
