I originally watched the series in the mid 1990's on the History Channel...back when they had history programming.

I'm up to "Sharpe's Gold."

Nothing says Napoleonic Warfare like electric guitar.

Aye I read the books & saw the series years ago. Excellent entertainment. Was always a running joke between me and the old man about Sharpe doing large battles with only a platoon strength of men due to budget constraints.
