Sharpening chain saw blades...

Seriously though...dirt will ruin the blade within a second.

Blades are $20-30. The sharpener was 1/2 price for $50. It paid for itself quickly.

But yea....not worth it for most people.

Takes me about 5 minutes to do a 16 or 18 inch blade now.

One should wear boots and leathers as well.

Think I heard sharp blades are safer because you don't have to lean into them.
