It might help you if you are "overstimulated", i.e. it might help you last longer. I have trouble getting off at all after eating xanax. Usually more than .5 or 1mg though.
Xanax is a tranquiliser used to treat anxiety disorders or panic attacks. It is also prescribed to treat alcohol withdrawal, depression, irritable-bowel syndrome and PMS.
If you don't fall into any of these categories then you should not be using it.
If you are using Xanax then one of the common side effects is increased or decreased sex drive (depending on the user) as it affects serotonin levels in the body. Sexual dysfunction is also a common side effect.
Anxiety disorders: The usual starting dosage for Xanax is 0.25 to 0.50 mg 3x per day which can be increased every 3 days to a maximum of 4 mg per day.
Panic Attacks: 0.5 mg 3x per day which can be increased every 3 days by 1 mg to a maximum of 10 mg total.
Xanax also interacts with other medications and foods. If you want a list, let me know. Xanax XR (extended-release) will affect you differently.
Sorry if I came across as though I was lecturing you.
That was not my intention.
I just don't like to hear about people putting themselves in a position where they could get hurt, eventhough I don't know you.
