September 11th. How many of you think it should be a holiday?

I received a chain letter type of email from a family member. It is about keeping the kids home from school today, in hopes that people will realize that today should be a holiday. I agree, although I cannot miss school therefor my son cannot either....However, I think it is bullshit we can celebrate dead presidents birthdays and stupid shit but all we get today is a moment of prayer and a million re-caps of the devastation that happened to this country...I think that it should be a federal national holiday!!!!!

No on the holiday idea. However, we all need to reflect on that horrible day each year.

I'm going to go to a local soup kitchen tonight with my daugther to help those in need. Perhaps each of us should do something for our community in honor of that dreadful day.
