MARILYN: Now we know why Mr. Manson wears all that makeup. The rock star last week pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges stemming from his arrest for doing the grind on the head of a security guard during a July 2001 concert. The 33-year-old Manson (real name: Brian Hugh Warner) was hit with a $4000 fine for his no contest plea in Michigan's Circuit Court to disorderly conduct and assault and battery charges. TSG is happy that Manson's case is closed because we now have an excuse to publish his fabulous mug shot (along with his judgment of sentence). He's one handsome devil, no?

yeah, age isn't treating him well. o well, looks aren't everything, he still makes good music. H'es an ugly bastard tho. What's funny is how all those little goth girls think he's so hot. Just goes to show you there's hope for evryone, as long as ya have a gimmick that is.

yeah, all people who like manson are pale trench coat wearing freaks...:rolleyes: manson might not be winning any beauty contests any time soon, but he is a fucking good musician. antichrist superstar is one of the angriest and loudest cd i have ever heard...it is a damn good cd.

oh, the whole goth thing is gay, but just because some people act like that, doesnt mean every manson fan out there does...shit, not even the majority of them do. manson still makes fucking good music, and has thousands of fans. im sure if you actually sat down and listened to a cd of his, you would get into it
 
nope, still making music, however twiggy ramirez left the band. their last cd was "Holywood" and there new cd is scheduled to drop in october.

Yeah he's banging some model now or he was not too long ago. It sucks that Twiggy left, but the new album "Golden Age of Grotesque" is supposed to be awesome. Korn wants to open for him again.

Korn's Jonathan Davis said "I had the opportunity to listen to the new Marilyn Manson album in its demo stage. I think its the heaviest and best album so far." Davis also praised the record and expressed a desire to tour with Manson in a recent interview with MetalHammer.co.uk, saying "It all depends on our record labels, Y'know - if they're gonna be a--holes or not! We've talked about it and I've been over to listen to his new stuff and his new album ('The Golden Age Of Grotesque') is f---ing amazing! I love what he's doing and I'd like to be a part of it."

Booker, of MTV2 and KRock (WXRK) NY, couldn't stop talking about the new Marilyn Manson album on his show a week ago. He spoke of his friendship with Manson, and of receiving the opportunity to sneak a listen. Booker went on, saying excitedly, it was "really, really great. Some of the songs you're going to be singing over and over."

I saw him during the Mechanical Animals tour and the crowd was a pretty good mix of people. Still the best show I've ever been to.
 
We should have more great ugly artists like that guy to teach the youth of america how they should be!! I look up to manson and want to be just like him. I think im going to print out that picture and pin it up on my wall right above where i sit my crack pipe on my dresser when i go to bed.
 
I WOULD THINK THAT MM WOULD OPEN FOR KORN. THEY ARE A LARGER SCALE (SO TO SPEAK) BAND. MM HAD HOLE OPENING FOR HIM IN SMALL ARENAS WITH AROUND 7-10K PEOPLE FOR THE TOUR. KORN USUALLY SELLS OUT ATLEAST 15K SEAT ARENAS EVERY TOUR.

a bunch of my friends went and saw him on halloween at MSG during his tour for antichrist superstar, and they said it was the best and most intense concert they have ever been to.

They might alternate headlining if they ever tour. Korn opened for Manson back in the day.

ok. Manson is a GREAT talent. NIN and Tool are fantastic. Rob Zombie has some decent stuff. I want to hear what else you twisted guys are listening to.
 
i also think he looks better with the makeup ;) but I love his music. other bands who's music i enjoy... NIN, mudvayne, slipknot, kittie, tool, system of a down, korn, sublime...
 
I like mansons music a lot.

he is actually quite popular with certain ladies... some of em real hot. looks arent all... look at prince back in his day he had some of the best women around and hes skinny and ugly and hairy and shit

Those are all bands I like and listen to a lot, as well as Slipknot and Bush. Godsmack is alright, but I don't know how long they'll last.
 
as this board's token 27-year-old goth, I have to say -

MANSON IS NOT A GOTH!!! He is a glam rocker. Antichrist superstar is very good. I never thought I'd agree with Poink on anything, but he's right on the ball there.

Goths have been around here in the UK since 1980. Mr Warner is just jumping on the bandwagon.

Actually, I find the breed of 15-year-old retarded Mansonites really fucking annoying. It means peopel think I am some kind of brainless trend-following sheep-like overgrown teenager because they dress like me (let's face it, I look a bit OLD to be a Manson fan).

I quite like the Cult, the Cure and the Damned too thank you very much. Indicentally, the Damned are on tour over ehre at the moment. Playing Glasgow soon I believe.

hmmm.... perhaps you've never heard Slayer, Machine Head, Dry Kill Logic... or any REAL metal.
