For some of you that find government too instrusive, you can thank the Federal Government for protecting your money.
I'm taking a securities law course at the present time, and the SEC has its hands all over the trading and buying of securities. Just from what we've studied thus far, thank God they do.
You wouldn't believe (as I'm sure some of you know) the number of corporations that attempt to rip-off shareholders. If it weren't for Federal Law and Securities laws, alot of us would be out of alot of money.
Just an example of successful government regulations...You see government isn't all bad, now is it? Bureacracy can indeed do good things....
