scared or paranoid

My girlfriend and I have both come down with oral thrush and she also has a yeast infection. I did some research on it on the net and was scared shitless to see it is a symptom of HIV. On occassion we do have threesomes with other girls (dont be jealous, I am done with it after being scared with it like this). Our last 3 some was about 8 weeks ago and just consisted of unprotected oral sex with no penatration. About a month before that we had one with unprotected oral and used condoms for penetration as we always do. This has me scared out of my mind and I have made an appointment with the doc this evening to get ever thing double checked and get an HIV test. The one thing that does give me some comfort is that we both have had symptoms of chronic thrush for sometime over a year now and before we ever had threesomes. I think total we have had 5 threesomes and penetration maybe 3 or 4 times with them. The symptoms I have had have included blurred vision from time to time, having a hard time remember stupid stuff (this could be old age thoug,,, LOL) I have had some white blisters in my mouth from time to time. She has had more severe symptoms, white blisters on her tongue, white film on her tongue, severe acid reflux, stomach cramps yeast infections low to no sex drive. She also has major issues with anxiety and which I read also can be caused by systematic thrush. Any thoughts opinions or help would be greatly appreciated guys.

WEll did you go get checked? I have had thrush from large doses of antiboitics when I was in the hospital but it does not sound like what you are talking about. Maybe you have a worse infection...Good luck

Im glad to see that you are going to be getting tested for HIV...with that said. Thursh is only a yeast infection. And is not life threating, but if it's not cared for quickly it can move down the throat area, and believe me you do not want it there. Been there...talk about a sore throat from hell.
A home remedy for it would be to eat plain yogert. If it's really bad then you may need medication. I still get it from time to time and I take "Diflucan". It gets rid of it quickly.

I hope everything works out for the both of you. ;)

got tested early this week,,, ohh the wait,,,,

Well my HIV came back negative the doc also did a full blood panel and said something was out of whack with my immune system so she wants me to get more testing. They could not figure out what is causing the problems with my mouth. I have had thrush and now I have had the worst cotton mouth for the last week. I mean my mouth is as dry as the sahara even when I drink water continuously. I cycled pretty much for 2 years straight and stopped about 5 months ago so I dont know if this is some sort of crash related thing or not. I am completely done with the AAS's for personal reasons. I had to weigh out some things in my life that were more important to me and the aas's had to go. Anyway, the doc is sending me to an oncologist for a complete checkover. I have had 3 spots of melanoma removed in the last 2 years so she was concerned about lymphoma. So I am going from one health worry to another now. I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

So glad to hear you are negative ..... ;) At least you wont have that lingering over your head. I truely hope that you do not have Lymphoma. That would be a real kick in the ass. Stay focused on the things in your life that are most important. I have found that really helps me keep my head clear.
I good luck with the Oncologist.

My best to you.....BBB :rainbow:
