What does scar tissue from too many injections feel like? could it feel like a piece of floating tissue under your skin? Or is it only noticable on the exterior of your skin? Thanks!

it crinckles like you passing through layers of ceran wrap, it doesnt hurt at all, just feels awkward. And it doesnt look any different from the surface.

Nope, you should be able to feel it by pressing on it really. When you go to inject it will be harder to push the pin through and it will make a crinkleing noise. If your getting a bump under your skin that may be something else, are you itchy/red/sore?

Greek...

its in my shoulder.

Its been there for about a year...i know i should have gotten it checked out a while ago...but i just thought it would go away. It was never red....sore....no pain.....So i know its not an abcess..

You know sometimes if you inject, you get a little knot....

Its like that.

That sounds kinda odd. Scar tissue isn't like that. Being the sick person I am, I would be sticking a needle in their and seeing if there was anything to drain in it. Either that or I would try to pop it. But I am a lil sick. LOL Seriously though, if it's been there for a year, it's probably no harm to you. Maybe next time you are at the doctor, ask him. I doubt it's anything to worry about.

If it is scar tissue I've read that massage can be effective in clearing scar tissue; however the older you are and the longer it has been there, the harder it is to clear this up.

I have plenty of scar tissue in my quads, and can't feel it by touching the leg, only if I stick the needle I feel the resistance. In some spots I can't inject at all, anymore.

If you inject in scar tissue does this hinder absorption?

Interesting question. Well, you can't inject directly into scar tissue, but if you inject into area surrounded by scar tissue, may be it will prolonge half life.
It's just my personal opinion, I might be wrong.
