Saving muscle with AM cardio

Currently I do my cardio in the morning right after I wake up and have started taking BCAAs before hand to minimize muscle loss. How long before actually starting cardio would I need to take them in order for them to be effective? I'm unsure how long it takes for the caps to dissolve and for the aminos to be made usable to the body.
 
How long is your cardio? If you are doing HIIT, there will be minimal muscle loss anyway. Long duration cardio is where you should worry. Plus, long duration cardio isn't incredibily useful for fat loss anyway.

Sorry, can't answer the BCAA question. From what I have read over the years, I didn't think they were incrediibly useful though.
 
Im not exactly doing it for fat loss, but most often it's not HIIT. Sometimes it is and yeah, Im not really worried about the short duration sessions.
