saturated vs. unsaturated???

someone told me we dont need saturated fats and that there are no benefits over unsaturated. is this true??
 
yes

saturated fats = heart issues
you don't need them
but they rae present in meat and many animal products

poly-unsaturated fats = good fats
(among which omega 3s)

=> take flax seed oil, fish oil, canola oil, walnut oil
 
so since red meat is so high in it, is there any point in eating red meat? is there any other good things that come from red meat?
