Satisfaction survey with Gyno surgery

Dantes

New member
Well it's been almost a year since I had my last Gyno surgery.

I had my first surgery about 1 3/4 years ago due to extra tissue being left over in my left nip. My last surgery took care of *most* of the tissue in the left nip, but a year later I still find my left nip slightly bigger than the right. (You would not notice unless you were really looking hard)

My surgeon was very conservative with taking tissue out as he felt that its better to take out too little than too much because inverted nipples look terrible. FYI I had no gyno fat, just the hard chunks.

All in all I would say that I am quite happy, the scars are very difficult to notice. Although not perfect, I would say it was a great improvement and I am comfortable with my shirt off. (I used to be embarassed to take off my shirt especially infront of the ladies, so the mission was accomplished).

I'd also like to thank the Canadian government for picking up the tab for both surgeries.

Not to sound like a support group, but I'm sure everyone would like to hear the experiences of others who have gone through this.

:bawling: ---> :D

not to impressed by mine, the only peopel to have noticed the scars are girls i have been with.

left nipple is good but not enough was removed from right nipple and its a bit bigger, maybe my next cycle will clear with up from the liquidex i'll be using

hey PsychoPikey

where did you have your surgery done?

I had mine done in London and I am 3 weeks post op! I hate wearing this damn compression vest!

is inverted nipple really a big problem if they remove ALL of the gland? of all the reading i've done on the boards on this topic i've onlyheard of 1 guy who's had that happen and it was a temporary issue that cleared up on its own. personally i could deal with inverted nipples for a while if i knew that i would never have to deal with gyno again...

seems like doc's are reluctant to take out all the tissue b/c of the risk of leaving an inverted nipple, but if the situation is merely temporary, what is the problem? are they trying to protect their "name" as far as business goes, or is there some real moral hangup about taking it all out?

i had it done in a private bupa hospital somewhere in the south east, cant remember where exactly. i neva had to wear a compression thing tho, just some big plasters.

I also went to a doctor about surgery a while back but didnt opt to have it done. My gyno is gone at this point anyway. From what I talked over with my doctor is if you remove the glands along with all the fat and leave nothing your nipple will sort of 'float'. Take a look at pictures of Rich Gaspari flexing his chest. From what I am told by a few competitive bb's in my area he had everything removed and when he hits a chest pose the nipples actually move over and dont sit in a natural positon.
