same results?

lets say you had 2 identical individuals

the both have the same workouts, and take in the same amount of fat and protein.

but one of them is in ketosis from not eating carbs, and the other is in ketosis from taking ALA.

would it yield similar results as far as fat loss?
 
I also think it depends on the amount of ALA taken.

I have seen that people have had great results from just adding lot of ALA(2-3g a day).

Also the one taking the AL will be eating a lot more cals. So, I don't know what will happen as far as fat loss. I am interested in finding this out as well. Maybe the person taking the ALA will actually gain LBM while burning fat?
 
I have been reading a bit about ALA and was thinking of taking it with a bit of a higher carb diet but then dropping down to pretty low. I was interested to see how well it would work at the higher carb levels(I know, i would have to take quite a bit of it..and may not be worth it, but I am also taking it for my liver). If anyone out there has tried both different diets I'd like to know how it worked for them.
