I make no appologies here, this guy has taken his illness to a new level of denial, to say that the American people should surrender our guns rights is just a symptom of his long outstanding mental condition. How many here would vote for him to be taken into custody for a mental condition, I support GWB and the NRA and for that he would send me off to the looney bin if he and his liberal ilk had their way. I say a vote is in order and since he's a big supporter of the popular vote lets just see who comes out a head. You or me RyanH, accept the results, you have NO choice. Your a nut case.

I thought he was a nut case for saying we should give money to our enemies.

With the proper therapy, I can see RyanH walking through the Kyber Pass with a M-16 in one hand and a flame thrower in the other. Then with his best "Rambo" yell, he will charge into Kabul and slaughter everything in site. He will then leave Afghanistan with a necklace of ears and a satisfied grin.

Allways throwin smoke---like with those quotes of Chesty's

Surely, deep down he knows he is wrong on the issues----He just hasn't come to grips with it.----maybe(longshot) he will come around.

IMO, Nobody in America should be allowed guns apart from those with special hunting licenses. After seeing some of the psychos on this board, i think its way to dangerous for everyone to be allowed a gun.

Im sick of seeing highschool shootings and armed hold-ups on the news.

the boy believes in peace, what the fuck is wrong with that? i think u need to stop flaming him and learn something from him. and whats with the poll? grow up.

Nevertoobig, I own many weapons, I have no licence and need no special hunting licence to own a gun. In fact I don't even hunt.
The second ammendment clearly states that congress shall pass no law banning ownership of guns. I like my collection and will keep it until they pry my cold dead fingers from them. I have no criminal record, and I have never shot a human being in well over 30 years of fireare ownership. As far as kids packing weapons at school, this never happened when I was a kid and we had a rifle range right at our school, I took riflery as a gym class several times in High school. The reason kids pack today is mainly from a lack o f disapline that starts at home, The damn schools have messed up the kids today with a lot of very bad psychology. Get the parents back into the disapline issues at home and get the psychologists out of the school system and this crap will stop by it's self.

Boys believe in Peace, MEN make war when needed. Back in the seventies, I had to register for the draft, I never went because the war ended, Viet Nam was a lousey war and we had no reason to be there, but when the rag heads bring this shit on to OUR soil, it's time for MEN to make war on them, every single arab country that supports this kind of trash deserves to taste FEAR from US. Including the Saudi's. RyanH beleive we should feed our enimies, and so do I, where we differ is that I want to feed them bullets and bombs, and he wants to feed them food.

thats not true. there are about 10 requirements that you have to have/not have to get a gun (be a state/federal citizen, be 21, no domestic violence convictions, no felony convictions, no alcohol convictions in last 3 years, drug convictions in last 5 years, no active restraining order, etc). or did you mean overall?

if the people who use guns badly don't care about the law i don't see how banning guns will prevent them from having them. we banned drugs and those are pretty much everywhere.

If guns are banned, it will definately make them harder to get hold of. Look at other countries where guns are banned (e.g. the Uk), you dont see the kids taking guns to school.

Theres no need for guns whatsoever in America.

People will say guns are for their own protection but they know thats a loada rubbish. They just have a passion for shooting and it makes them feel powerful.

I wouldnt give the shirt off my back to the afghan people. RyanH would give the shit off his back though.

None of the "psychos" here have used those guns at their highschools or commit armed felonies.

You don't have to be 21 to purchase a rifle in the state of Texas, only 18. You can own a handgun at 18, just not buy one.

But some might go around killing a person taht theyve got a grudge against. At least, thats what theyve said. A gun just makes things easier...theres no need for them.

The internet makes it easier for people to sound tough and talk shit. I doubt ANY person on this board would kill someone they have a grudge against.

some people on this board have already admitted theyve killed people before.

And anyway, people get depressed, suicidal etc. It only takes a few seconds to pick up a gun and go on a shooting spree. America has so many shootings because guns are allowed. The US needs to follow the example of other countries where guns are banned. It may be a gereat country, but it can always improve.

There isnt really any argument FOR having guns allowed part from something like:

'It makes me feel safe and powerful as i can defend myself if anyone attacks me. Also, i enjoy collecting guns and game shooting.'

No arguement?

How about the Founding Father's wanted to protect this right? And anyone on this board who has killed another most likely did it in a combat situation. Therefore it is not illegal.

No argument.

So the words of the Constitution aren't worth anything? All men aren't created equally?

By the way, guns are illegal in Mexico. Obviously crime rates are minimal there.

Ok..no argument apart from the ones i already gave!

As for Mexico, since i dont know much about the crime there, i typed in a search for 'mexico+crime rates' on yahoo and this was the first thing that came up:

"One thing that no one has mentioned is the differences between the US and Mexico regarding gun ownership. While many Mexicans do own guns, (often illegally),
the number of firearms in circulation pro capita must be very small compared to the US. It would be interesting to see how many people are injured or killed by
firearms in Mexico. As far as I know, the US is far and away the world leader in this respect. Maybe "guns don't kill people", but an awfull lot of people are killed in
this country every day as a result of the incredibly easy acess to them that we allow.

Because of this difference in our two countries, I beleive that I will feel safer retiring in Mexico than in almost any city in the US."

That's a laugh! Every time I go to Mexico I carry a wad of cash, just to pay off the Federales !

When the founding fathers drafted the constitution american society was in a state of mayhem with a bunch of loosely connected groups if immigrants. Think 'wild west' era ruled by bandits, when laws where not enforced, and the citizens had to take whatever measures possible to protect themselves. Some can argue that it's not any better now, but arming every citizen doesn't make it better.
