I think the USA may be forced to take drastic measures. What is your opinion of genocide and use of nuclear warfare? It's inhumane, I know but at this point isn't it necessary?

genocide? whoa i dont think its come that far and never will.
first of all remember there are nuclear weapons that dont produce huge explosions like in wwII, there are some that will just make an 8 foot crater. but youre probably referring to a large bomb. i dont think it would be very effective because afghanistan is so desolate there are no real targets that would be as effective as using smart missles

Whatever steps are necessary to protect our own must be taken.

Okay, First of all, I am not bos. However, I do fear for my country. Afghanistan's animosity towards us will not diminish with the demise of Bin Laden. Generations will just pick up where he leaves off. We (the USA) will never be safe until this plague is removed from the planet......Entirely. If this means Women and children, so be it. nuclear weapons? Why would nuclear weapons be necessary in this situation? We are dealing with a poor country. Afghanistan is not WW2 Germany or Japan. This will not become an option. Not only does using a nuclear bomb impose questions of humanity, health, and safety to those affected by it, but the world would turn their back on the United States if we resorted to nuclear weapons. Bad idea.

ryan, it's not america's job to police the world. i think the only time we need to act in a police manner is when we are directly effect or one of our true allies is effected. to go around the world and say hey you can't do that is not our job. to do that is to be a bully and a country that bullies is a communist country, ahem, left winger, nevermind.
