he's a good singer and grats to him, but yeah i doo feel it was rigged for him to take it against the other guy. And yes I feel that it's because his skin color makes him more marketable at this point in time. I don't see how right now a skrawny white guy can be hip.

He's destined for fame and fortune beyond his wildest imagination. I mean look at Kelly Clarkson...she practically owns all of Hollywood now and has a music and movie career that makes J-Lo look like nothing. Has she even released an album yet?

LOL,obviously none of you folks have even watched the show.Kelly has already sold 1.3 million copies of her first album and it was just released a few weeks ago.I can't believe some of you folks can't look past the racial boundaries and see talent for what it is.

The margin was so close --as close as the presidential elections--and I think a recount is warranted. The white skinny guy was better in my view but he lacked charisma despite being the better voice..

Clay, while being a great singer, has very little charisma or pop potential. I mean WTF will his CD be like?? He cant do R&B cuz he is waaaaay too white. His forte is show tunes and who the hell buys CDs of show tunes.
Clay made it that far cuz he has talent, but its a talent that is not commercial.

I'll guarantee theres like 5000 unknown artists out there that may be 2-3 times more talented and "better" than Miss Clarckson, but of course, no one cares about them because the average Joe and Jane don't have the media telling them that these artists are good and you want to listen to them. I really cant imagine how a this could be rigged. Was the last American Idol rigged as well? Clay definitey is more marketable to mainstream American teens, which is the market their targeting. He's ok looking, good personality, & perhaps he could become a hear throb to young girls.
I dont think the same holds true for Rubin. I just dont see girl hanging pics of Rubin on their wall. Has anyone of his stature accomplished this? Rigged? I dont see how a record company could benefit by having Rubin as their poster boy for all girls to fantacize about & for young boys to envy & idolize him.
