IMO, Rosa Parks was a more important figure in black history than King.
King's legacy is his dream speech. Yes, he may have done many more things but we all remember him for the famous words "I have a dream..."
Parks legacy is the fact that she said "fuck it" and did what nobody else had the balls to do.
King jumped on an opportunity that Parks presented and made a name for himself. Parks is the whole reason he had the ability to be in power.
Why don't we have Rosa Parks day?
