Rookie Question: Win/Deca

Guys - I'm a rookie to the whole AAS thing, so i've got a few questions. Once my baseball season is over I want to start a cycle, and I was thinking about just doing Winstrol injections since I only want to gain a little mass (10lbs. or so) and get a little more ripped. However, as I have read, Winstrol gives you joint pains... so I was thinkin Deca to counteract that. If it matters, im 23, 6'1 173, work out regularly.

Question 1: Will the winstrol by itself give me temporary joint pain (6 week cycle) or will this continue? and will it actually damage my ligaments and tendons?

Question 2: I've read/heard conflicting things on Deca, will it cause water retention and will I need PCT after using it? -- Also if anyone has used Win/Deca together, if you have any opinions on how well it works let me know.

Question 3: I'm not real big on people knowing im juicing, hence only wanting to gain 10 lbs. or so... If I take either Winstrol only, or Win/Deca, will it be obvious? Basically what im asking is, if i take the Deca as well as opposed to just the Winstrol, how much more than the 10lbs i want will it make me gain?

Thanks for any info guys, I'm sure you all get tired of rookies like me asking 10 million questions.
 
You'll add water/bloat with that, so really to get to keep 10, you'll have to put on an initial 20. Your pct will be key, and on a 6'1 173lbs frame, not knowing your bf% I don't think that kind of gain will be that noticable. Hell, I am barely 6' and put on 30 in 6 months and nobody said anything, including my family until I was at the pool this weekend and they were like "oh, you were working out a lot."

Ok, so here goes, winny will not be terrific for mass, but it will probably be a good quality, and depending on the dose 10lbs of quality is not unreasonable. adding 50mg-100mg/wk of deca will ease the joint pain, and so long as you are hydrating, you won't do permanent damage. Key here is rest too. On your day off, don't do anything but eat, sleep and watch sportscenter on espn. 6 weeks is not long enough to do anything though man, on average with just about any aas, 6 weeks is when things start to happen. I tell people 8 weeks for anything, in most cases 12 week cycles is a rule of thumb. I personally won't run less than 10 weeks.
 
everyone has just told me not to run winny for longer than 6wks, 8 at the most or else my joints will fuck up. Also my body fat is 10%. If im taking the winny at the same time as the deca will i bloat? also what about the pct? or will the winny be enough?
*** added question: I have heard of people running a winny/Equipoise cycle. is this a good idea as far as them working well together, and will eq. add much mass?
 
drrman-this self proclaimed rookie is waiting for you to spread around your plethora of AAS knowledge. Whatever you recommend, I will agree with you 100%. Just make sure his results aren't "too noticeable" otherwise he might quit baseball and enter the Mr O next year.
 
1. You won't gain 10 pounds of LBM on winny.
2. It can cause joint pain but it doesn't cause permanent damage.
3. You won't gain 10 pounds of LBM on winny and deca combined in 6 weeks
4. If you do this cycle you will lose your sex drive and it will take a long time to recover. You need test in your cycle.
5. Your PCT needs to be HCG/AIFM (look those up)
 
^^^ your not big enough to start aas. And if you do decide, its not gunna be tremendously(sp) noticable

yeah i mean ive got great definition, im lean, just dont care to deal with the bloat etc... of test. (vain in other words haha) but yeah ill make sure ive got the pct down beforehand.
