Richard Pearle....force Out?

SUST-MAN

New member
We know that Richard Pearle said that we could go into this iraq war with only 40,000 troops

The generals wanted over 500,000 troops to fight....

So they setteled at 250,000ish.....

Now, After stiff resistance form the iraqis.....The generals tll Bush that we need more troops....

So he sends about 150,000 more to iraq....almost immediatly after, PEARLE RESIGNS?????

Now, the question is....WHY WOULD PEARLE ONLY WANT 40,000 troops? How could he have thought that it would be enough.

(a) maybe he wanted a larger air attack and bombing campain before the troops went in. I'm almost willing to accept that.

OR...

(b) Maybe he wanted a heavy US death toll..???

OH MY GOD SUST-MAN!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY THIS? WHY WHY WHY?

I'll tell you why....A heavy Death toll would the the US citizens even more angry....then shortly after, LEVEL IRAQ.

Could RIchard Pearle be that sadistic? Lets not forget his nickname...."PRINCE OF DARKNESS"

In an interview before 9-11, he said that the US needs a "PEARLE HARBOR-LIKE" event to gain support of the citizens to invade Saddam Hussein.

Why would he want to attack Saddam Hussein before 9-11???

(a) the article that he wrote "CLEAN BREAK"
(b) PNAC

WHat do you think.....and before you bash me...remember....THIS IS A THEORY....I'm not saying that this is TRUTH....just facts that i have gathered.

He is the architect of the 9/11 attacks and a Zionist.

He also has only gained from 9/11, the war and our pro-Israeli stance (which he is mostly responsible for).

No, that's Richard Perle. ;)

Now that the war is underway, I'm sure he's at his evil headquarters trying to figure out who'll be the next enemy to go after. I figure he's consulting with Satan on this. *sarcasm*

No he wasn't forced out. He is in cahoots with Saudi business and will make more money making deals to rebuild Iraq so he left on his own. This is not bullshit I made up, it is the truth.

rsnoble....

I know about his financial benefits.....But i think he could have maintained his position under rumsfeld even through the ethical critism.

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND BY WHAT FOXNC IS REPORTING AND DONALD RUMMSFEILD IS SAYING, ALL THE DEPLOYMENT ORDERS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR WEEKS. HE SAID HE HASNT SIGNED ANY DEPLOYMENT ORDERS SINCE. BUT I GUESS THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF THAT BEING BIASED....I GUESS WE'LL NVR KNOW.

I THINK THAT WE (YOU) ARE JUMPING THE GUN. OUR FORCES HAVE MOVED MORE DISTANCE IN A FASTER AMOUNT OF TIME THAN ANY OTHER ADVANCE IN ANY OTHER WAR. EVEN GULF WAR ONE. WE BOMBED FOR 38 DAYS BEFORE ANY U.S. BOOTS HIT IRAQY GROUND LAST TIME.

WE HAVE LESS THAN 100,000 TROOPS IN IRAQY TERRITORY RIGHT NOW. I'M PRETTY SURE WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH MAN POWER AND WEAPONRY TO GET THE JOB DONE. THE IRAQIS NUMBER SOMEWHERE AROUND 400,000 TROOPS. BUT THATS INCLUDING ALL MILITIA, FAYADEEN, REPUBLICAN GUARD, AND SPECIAL REPUBLICAN GUARD. I'D SAY WE ARE DOING PRETTY DAMN GOOD SO FAR.

CONSIDERING THE FAST PACE OF THE GROUND FORCES SO FAR, ITS NO SUPRISE THAT THEY DECIDED TO SLOW THE PACE DOWN. THE PACE ISNT STOPPED, ITS JUST SLOWED. THE BATTLE PLAN IS WORKING JUST FINE.

FRANKS ISNT EXACTLY NORMAN SWARTZCOF (SP?), BUT HE IS DOING A GOOD JOB IMO. IF WE HAD NORMAN, THIS WAR WOULD BE MUCH EASIER. HE'S PROBABLY THE GREATEST MILITARY MIND ALIVE.

KAYNE....

We covered alot of ground yes....but thats cause there was hardly anything in our way. Now that we have met up with powerful forces, we have slowed down the tempo.

are you sure about the 100,000 troops? Are you telling me that the remaining 300,000 troops are not in iraq? Dont buy it.

They are just telling us what they want to tell us. Remember how many times we heard that BASRA was ours?.....only to find out that we are engaged in stiff resistance.

The US gove would NEVER admit that we underestimated these iraqis. The bottom line is, Pearle wanted 40,000 troops and thats it. The Generals wanted 500,000.....

Who do you trust? I put my money on the generals.

Who is richard pearle?

This just confirmed what I have thought about you. You are an ignorant idiot. I am not usually deragatory towards any one, but post after post I am convinced you MUST be a freshman in highschool.

Anyway, as others have mentioned, he was chairman of the Defense Policy Board that advises Rumsfeld. Basically one of the puppetmasters behind Dubya.

"According to The Associated Press, its 30 members are a mix of former government and military officials, including former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, former CIA Director James Woolsey, former Air Force Chief of Staff Ronald Fogleman and former Vice President Dan Quayle. "

"Perle had a conflict of interest because he took a consulting job for the bankrupt telecommunications firm Global Crossing Ltd., which is trying to get the government to approve its purchase by a joint venture of two Asian firms.

The AP reported that according to lawyers and others involved in the bankruptcy case, Perle would receive $600,000 if the deal is approved, in addition to a $125,000 fee. "

In addition he has shady dealings with arab arms dealers.

This is one of the men that are behind the president. He is a Zionist, his loyalties do not lay in the best interests of America.

and more from CNN:
......Chaired by Richard Perle--a Reagan Pentagon official whose hard-line views won him the title "Prince of Darkness"--the board gives its 31 unpaid members something every Washington player wants: unrivaled access without accountability. Perle uses his post as a springboard for his unilateralist, attack-Iraq views to try to whip the Bush Administration into action. "

you know, I bet with a bit of digging, we would see that he gets money from Isreal.

For you, Jonnie Juice -
Open your eyes, stop believing all the garbage being spoon fed you by the Bush administration. The Bush administration IS NOT WORKING IN THE BEST INTETRESTS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Hengst....

I dont know if i agree with you 100%....

I think that without a pre-emptive strike on the mid-east NOW....we will not be able to dominate them in the following 50 years.

They are growing at such a fast rate.....and bio\chem weapons are so cheap.

If we did nothing, in 50 years, they could strong arm us...or at least threaten us.

The problem is....The BUSH admin is lying to us. This is not about WMD, Saddam Hussein, or Iraqi Freedom....

THIS IS ABOUT WORLD DOMINATION. As cold hearted as it sounds...its either US or THEM....

I know its unfair...but if we dont act now to dominate that region, in 50 years...we wont be able to bully them around...And if we cant bully them around....then we have lost our strategic edge.
