Novolog, Does anyone know the laws on this stuff. I know that I can get humulin R over the counter but I dont know about this stuff. Help is appreciated.

Novolog is Humalog. Do NOT use Humulin-R for PWO or ketosis. Humalog/Novolog is only way to go. But then again the fact that your asking this means that you are probably atleast a year away from knowing enough to actually use it.

Thanks thats what I thought, I was just trying to make sure. I can get humalog from a friend who is diabetic but since novalog is even faster acting I wanted to try and get my hands on that.

They have different names so obviously they are not the same. I do know what the fck I am talking about. Novolog peaks in 52 minutes, Humalog in 75, and Humalin in 174. So 52 and 75, being that they are 23 minutes different can be used the exact same.

Ya, umm Im pretty sure that just confirms exactly what I just said. You should be monitering yourself with a glucometer anyways - so step 1.Take blood levels 2. Shoot insulin 3. Consume an estimated #grams Glucose 4. Take blood levels again. 5. Consume adequate #grams glucose. Done. don't go to sleep and then moniter your glucose levels for the next 2-4 hours while monitering yourself for hypo symptoms. I have fucking run slin with humalog and it wouldnt be much different with novolog - thats my only point. So stfu - your link just verified exactly what I posted earlier.

Ive used insulin a bunch of times. Ive recently moved from AZ to Maine soon to be going to Canada and was unclear on the laws. Steel Mass said humalog is Novalog. IT IS NOT. Its not same no matter how you look at. Im pissed b/c of your know it all wise ass post. You were wrong so take your shit, your plat bought karma and bombs and go to the C&C board where you belong. First of all you use novo (btw there is more than one type of novo) but the novolog you are referring to is virtually identical and would be used the exact same way. Its like differentiating between propionate and phenylpropionate. Anyways - if you want to call people "dumbass" just remember what goes around comes around.

You asked the laws on it. Anyone asking the laws on fast acting slin shouldn't be using it. Period. Why would you ask the laws and not mention that you were moving to canada - laws are different there, should we somehow guess you are talking about canada even though your location is listed as New England. You obviously haven't run slin or at least correctly if you are wondering if novo is illegal otc... wtf...

I never said there was only one novolog so what are you getting at? I have used humalog many a times and I know that you need a script for that. I had not heard of novolog until recently so I was just simply asking what the laws where on it.
Well if you felt the need to reply but my question seemed to vague why not ask for more detail instead of being an ass??? I should of had more detail but being at work i didnt include enough since im trying to do ten things at once. I apologize for that.
