days of peace and tranquility sans contact with the outside world, happy stoned utopia, smiley coral fish and such forth, clicked on the BBC front page today and what do I read…

genocide in Kenya
we’ve lost Benazir Bhutto
welcome back to the fact
we reap what we sow
so happy birthday war
and here’s to many more

a quick question for all the crazy harboring religious racist twisted hating waste out there…

when you’ve finished slaughtering man, woman and child, and blowing up the world, do you think the rest of us could have our planet back?

Anyway…not the most cheerful of beginnings but never let the bastards get you down and all that, I hope Santa was dearly sweet and brought you all you wanted – the hornby train set, that gleaming bmx, or just plain filthy cash – personally I prefer cash, well, all the best to you this year.

so happy new year, yeah, well we say happy, but that actually seems very unlikely to occur. we all want it to be happy, of course we do, but the statistics suggest that’s slim. we all enter the new year with a renewed due sense of hope and determination but the world is still run by the same myopic selfish greedy morons as before so the likelihood of this year being any happier or better than the previous seems inconceivably small.

there are some things to be happy about this year though, we will be at least saying au revoir to that dim wit president bush.

i never realized this, but i'm in love with jayc9

welcome back good bro!
cheers, all the best

know you’re a surfer which is cool, back in the UK my xmas morning routine was always to meet up at my local break with my brother and close friends for a surf or even just a paddle if the conditions weren’t right, usually its a big, windy and stormy swell. we’re talking the north sea here, water temp 5 degrees, wind chill factor in the minus, crunchy frozen beach but it’s the best start to xmas a surfer could wish for.

as you step into the icy dark waters of the north sea in a 6ft swell xmas morning, no matter what excess quantities of alcohol or other substances you may or may not have consumed over the previous days, you are violently shocked into the most sober guy on the planet, it resets the brain and so begins the day

word to that.

I so miss paddling out on my own after a large evening the night before on bundy rum...

after the first duck dive the hangover mysteriously disappeared...

welcome back, cod piece

yo, you’ll like this

discovered the thai’s have a saying here, it came into conversation after a large cat snake decided to hide in the neighbours motorbike, anyway it goes – if you come across an indian and a snake you must pick up a big stick, but always be sure to hit the indian first – ha, there is this long streak of animosity between the thais and the indians, a lot of the main shopping areas in bangkok are owned by indians including the emporium which has new sandwich section in the supermarket upstairs, god knows why but they named it ‘deli-belly’ quite possibly the worst ever brand name for a food product

Hey where where you at? I was just in Pattaya, next time you are headed that way hit me up and I'll try to swing over.

As for that cold ass water, screw that the water is 73 in Jan and that is as cold as it gets. I'm diving 3 mil right now but should be back to a shorty soon.
