Removing Stretch marks by surgery?

Xtreme2001

New member
I'm in Ontario.. so any canadian boys have this done? If so how much does it cost?

Does it matter how much area is being repaired? Any info would be great.

Thanks.

I know youve heard of vitamin e, try it. fitness models dont even get laser stretchmark removal, they use vit e to lighten them so they blend in, dont waste your time with laser,

I've had some for about 5 months now that haven't faded at all. I got them all over my arms I even aam starting to see one form on my forearm. I've used vitamin e and it didn't work that well. Bump for more suggestions

Same here, from my first cycle, i got them all on my underarms, and on my triceps

from then on they start spreading down my biceps.

I tried vit e/cocoa butter/lavender oil for a long time and it didn't seem to blend them in

i think i'm going ot see if my sister'll do laser surgery, but then again when i cycle again, they'll just come back most likely

The only place I believe you can surgically remove stretch marks is the abs, and like the above post says, don’t waste you time or money on laser, I have had it done 3 times to no avail. .

My sister is a general surgeon, and she said they can do it in most areas, the most common is in women post-pregnancy on the abdominal region

what happened when you had it done, did they fade at all, or simply no results at all?

The general surgeon is accurate about removing stretch marks in post-partem mothers. However, the issue is more about excess skin. And one area.

Stretch marks all over your arms, pec area would be much more difficult. Think bilateral incisions. Costly, too. You would need a skilled plastic surgeon to limit any scarring.

I can't imagine any procedure that involves surgery on a shredded-lifter. The 10 percent bf or fewer crowd. There's not the same degree of left-over tissue found in the mother example.

Just give it time, I developed a thick 2 and a half inch stretch mark on my delt, along with various other smaller ones on my biceps, but they have all faded in a couple of years. The one on my shoulder amazed me because it looked like I had been knifed there since it was so bad, but it is barely noticeable now.

If you are tan or naturally have darker skin time may be more forgiving to you. If you're pasty like some of my buddies, then time may not be so helpful.

just keep up the vitamin e , it takes a while, or get you a aloe vera plant, I personally like my sctretchmarks, they show youve grown, new stretchmarks = new growth
