Receiving Packages.

I know the basic don't from reading the forums so far.

Don't sign for anything.

Don't admit the package is yours.

Don't take the package from anyone.

Don't let them in your house etc.

BUT, if you get your gear through priority mail and it won't fit in your mailbox slot
do they automatically default to the front door and drop it off there if the package doesn't require a signature?

OR, do they withhold it and try again or take it back and place a call to come get it.

as long as its not sig req'd, they should just leave it on the porch. do you have a mailbox or slot in your door?

Depends on your mailman. If you live in a really busy area they should leave it at the door even under a fake name. I've had really bad luck in the suburbs and no problems at a condo in the city. (always used fake name).
