Reading up on Queen's State visit

And I came across Prince Philip's trip to Norfolk. What an earthy man the prince Consort is. He met with families of those deployed for quite some time and asked about what each soldier, sailor and airman did. He seemed genuinely concerned about the welfare of each. He even screwed his own schedule up by staying on board the USS Wisconsin for extra time. Seems his ship was berthed in Tokyo harbor next to the Wisconsin during the signing ceremony ending the Pacific theatre war in WW2.

One thing that this State visit proves, is that the fate of our two great Nations is inextricably tied.
