Do they retain their shape after refridgeration? or do they need to be kept cold until eaten?

They keep their shape for the most part as long as they don't get smashed in my back pack. I eat two a day for a snack at work.

Yes they hold together just fine. I'm always taken them to work. My only problem is I like to eat the whole batch in the first day or two

It just needs to be refrigerated for 30 minutes post configuration, after its g2g to be in a ziploc.

Awesome info, thanks all. If you are still reading this post how do you make your bars? Hand form them? I am going to try a chocolate bar mold and see how that goes.

My gf got mad I used all her glass baking dishes for bars and kept it in the fridge lol

I just leave it in the fridge because bacteria doesn't grow(or grows super duper slow) in cold temperature...also insects cant get to it(hopefully :/) lol
