R-ala brands... rate them

glucorell-r seems to get awesome reviews.

I've been using r-ala powder from BAC and mixing it with biotin to a ration of 100mg r-ala/1mg biotin and capping it with green tea extract and ~50mcg chromium. I've been using it about 3-4 weeks like this, at a rate of about 100mg ala per 30 g carbs. I have stepped it up to 200mg per 30g carbs just to see if it makes any difference, i have 60g so i'm not worried about running out anytime soon. I have dropped about 2-3lbs in about 3.5 weeks, i feel like all i have lost is fat because my lift strength has not gone down on anything. I'm going to give it at least 2 months before i make a solid decision on it though. BAC claims 99.7% purity, and offers certificate of analysis, i still dont trust most supp. companies anyways though.

any experience/opinions on other brands....?

I've tried Glucorell, mike, Syntrax as well as BAC. All products have worked very well for me. The only drawback on BAC is the capping process and getting 100mg w/ biotin in there. The best overall value still seems to be Glucorell, esp if bought in mass. I know there is a feud between MP and mike. I have no problems with any of these products :)
