if i have 1/2 cup oats pre-training do I need to take 100mg r-ala, or is it for post w/out only?

Leave it for post-workoug, the oatmeal will not digest in time to bring up the blood sugar, while the low BS (from r-ala) might make your workout tough.

i didnt take the r-ala prewo/out but i still had a low-energy workout. I had all the right pre-ingredients, oats, whey, coffee...but still low on energy. Could it be that my body needs a rest or did I do something wrong?

Rez, you're trying to cut and drop water for your trip to Fiji soon, correct? Do you think you might be dehydrated and/or overtrained?

i think a little overtrained. I did alot of cardio this past w/end..and today I just couldnt get the lifts I needed.

diet is low carb except for pre/post training - though i take r-ala post w/out...

Sounds like too much activity for the amount of carbs. Your muscle and liver glycogen stores are depleted and it's hard for your body to adapt to higher activity levels w/o enough glucose stores.
