better than just r-ala for glucose clearance?

Not sure what the other things are? (MHCP? I might just be stupid today)

R-ALA+ALCAR is def better than r-ala alone however.

MCHP is the active stuff in cinamon...and this is from the BAC site

BANABA EXTRACT (Glucosol(tm) or equivalent) from Lagestroemia Speciosa L. Its active ingredient, 1% corosolic acid, acts as a glucose transporter, regulating and lowering blood sugar using the same glucose-shuttle proteins that exercise does, with no side effects. Traditional uses include normalizing high blood sugar for type II diabetics, as a fat-loss diet aid, and for healing mouth ulcers. It has antioxidant properties similar to Vitamin E. Triple strength capsule = 24 mg 1% corosolic acid extract. 2 capsules per day dropped blood sugar an average of over 30% in a four week period! May aid in creatine and amino acid transport and increase glycogen storage in muscle cells. 1 capsule per day is dose for non-diabetics. Will not lower blood sugar below normal levels

Ok...just read the cinnamon research in a diet-board thread.

Quote from one thing I read said that Cinnamon increased fat-cell responsivness to glucuse which would indicate it being a non-specific-GDA.

Opinions on it's usefulness is very much apprecaited b/c I would think Non-Specific-GDA's wouldnt have a horribly favorable effect on body comp.

thinking the same thing maka... but after a workout wouldnt your muscles be much more receptive and have more "room" for storage?

We think alike haha.

It would make sense that even though it was non-specific it would goto muscle because they would be overly-responsive right?.

I belive Macro reccomended Cinnamon a long time ago, maybe he'll chime in. :)

BTW: P.F. Dont forget GLA (per your diet board question on GDA's)

Ok so just read basically it's going to depend on if your in excess or not. Assuming you dont over-eat those carbs, brain/muscles would have access to them first so it would be good PWO.

Works through GlUT-3's and some hormone I've never heard off..time to break out my bio-chem books I guess

I've heard about GLA but I didnt think it was a GDA... I thought it just blunted the insulin response, like all fats do when injested with carbs.
