quick question re: flying/airports now

i have a flight tomorrow from newark to miami tomorrow and was curious if anyone has flown recently and what the airport situation was like.

last time i flew was a few months ago before those arrests over in the UK and i know you cant bring shampoo and shit like that on the plane but are there any other restrictions? laptops? carry-ons? etc.

They stripe search you now and do a cavity search. You need to show up 10 hours a head of time. Other than that it smooth sailing.

not too much different, I flew the day after the nightmare in the UK and I was through security within 5-7 minutes at BWI. just dont bring anything liquid or liquidy on board the plane. they did look into every bag that came through the belt. but that somehow didnt seem to hold things up too much.

I just flew last week -- only PITA is having to check all my makeup & stuff. And worst of all was no chapstick on the plane. At least my shampoo didnt' explode in the suitcase.

Double bagged & pushed out most of the air in them. I'm just paranoid. I once had a bottle of shampoo explode in a suitcase and turned all my white stuff green.
